SeqWright Celebrates its 10 Year Anniversary
with Some Big Promises for 2005
Houston , TX —January 19, 2005—SeqWright, a leading provider of contract genomic services, this month celebrates its 10 th anniversary commemorating a decade service excellence within the scientific community. Coinciding with the launch of the company’s year-long celebration, SeqWright announces significant investments that is has made over the past several months in equipment, personnel, infrastructure and IT, which promise to enhance its current services offerings and ultimately bring more value to its customers.
Among the improvements, SeqWright has completed the construction of several new laboratories as apart of its commitment to upgrading its facility from GLP to GMP. Along with the new construction, SeqWright has installed an updated backup power system able to generate more than 20 times more power than its previous legacy system. Customers themselves will soon notice a major change as SeqWright begins implementation of its new LIMS system, which promises to increase the company’s visibility through its online interface and provide researchers with a greater selection of web-accessible tools than available before. Furthermore, SeqWright has made significant investments in high-throughput robotics for its core DNA sequencing services and has made recent additions in senior level personnel for positions in quality assurance, management, and R&D.
