Capture Array Process & Deliverables

Overview
The following steps are designed to provide you with a basic overview of SeqWright's genomic enrichment process. All, but the first two steps apply to exome capture projects as well.

How the process works (custom arrays)

  • Specify your region/s of interest (up to 30MB/array)
  • A custom array is designed and synthesized for your target gDNA
  • Send us your full-complexity human genomic DNA
  • We fragment your DNA (to 500bp) and hybridize it to your custom array
  • Unbound (undesired) DNA is washed away
  • The target DNA is then eluted and subsequently amplified
  • Following enrichment QC, the sample is ready for next gen sequencing

Deliverables

Upon Completion of your project, SeqWright will provide you with the following:

  • >6ug of enriched and amplified DNA (sufficient for multiple next-gen runs)
  • Report describing your enrichment yield and quality control metrics
  • Target region GFF adn BED file coverage summary
